Reminders: Movie on Thursday; dance on Friday
UPDATE: Due to the poor weather expected throughout the day today, we are reluctantly postponing the dance for 2 weeks. Please mark your calendars for Friday, Feb. 22nd instead – same great music, fabulous list of silent auction items, and good company!
[County resident Chris Hall’s reminders about CCSAGE’s Save the County dance this Friday night and the CBC Documentary Wind Rush on CBC-TV on Thursday night.]
This is a reminder about the fundraising dance this Friday evening, February 8th, 8 pm at Waring Hall. Music by the popular County band Little Bluff, cash bar, light refreshments, silent auction, raffle and a fun evening with people who want to spare the County from industrial wind development. With the dance and the Ostrander Point ERT preliminary hearing both taking place on February 8th, the importance of this (long) day will not be lost on County residents.
Proceeds from the dance will go to CCSAGE to support the continuing fight against IWTs. Reservations in advance are preferred but not required.

If you can’t attend the fundraising dance please consider making a donation or contributing a silent auction item in support of the work being done by dedicated volunteers in the County. For further information contact Karen Empringham 613-476-4060 or email@example.com .
