APPEC Tribute Dinner — Sat, June 15, 6:00 pm at the Grange of Prince Edward Winery
Just 23 of the original 120 tickets are left for APPEC’s June 15th Tribute Dinner at the Grange of Prince Edward winery, 990 Closson Road, Hillier.
APPEC supporters are looking forward to a good time as well as the opportunity to honor Bill Wightman and CREW, the County’s first wind turbine resistance group.
Besides the BBQ pig roast provided by Harley Guernsey, there will be potato salad, green salad with tomatoes, and pasta salad, each with side dressing, supplied by Bill Grieve of Wheelhouse Catering. The Grange will be serving guests a complimentary aperitif and glass of fine wine. A cash bar will also be open. Dress is casual/country.
The barbecue to be auctioned is a Broil King Regal 490S propane model with 4 main burners, side burner and rotisserie, retail price $1000.
Tickets are $100 per person, payable by cash or cheque at the entrance, with all profits going to the legal costs of the health appeal. Since this is a fundraising event with limited seating, please ensure you are able to keep your purchase commitment.
